Health & Safety

AN IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY MESSAGE FROM BOOST

The health and safety of our BOOST Community are of the utmost importance. We will continue to work closely with the City of Palm Springs, the Greater Palm Springs Visitors, and Convention Bureau, and the Palm Springs Convention Center to continue to provide a safe experience for everyone. We are abiding by and enforcing all guidelines set forth by the City of Palm Springs, the County of Riverside, and the State of California.

For Indoor Mega Events (example: conventions/conferences/expos/sporting events and concerts):

This guidance goes into effect on April 1, 2022

Effective April 1, 2022, requirements for vaccine verification or proof of negative test for Indoor Mega Events will be lifted and move to a strong recommendation. While vaccine verification or proof of negative test will be lifted on 4-1-22, the State of CA strongly recommends that all participants be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending the event. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated and boosted, when eligible.

Masks

Attendees are encouraged to wear masks at their comfort level and should follow CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings. Refer to CDPH Get the Most Out of Masking for more information on getting the best fit and filtration for masks. This includes surgical masks and respirators like N95s, KN95s, and KF94s. Learn how to get the best fit and filtration from your mask.

GBACStar Accreditation Seal 476px op2k9wdkvrkvt5fz8zekkohh37ibe2q7rrwusxy4jk 300x300

The Palm Springs Convention Center (PSCC) is GBAC STAR™ accredited. GBAC STAR™ is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response, and recovery accreditation for facilities. GBAC STAR is the gold standard of prepared facilities. This accreditation means that a facility has:

  • Established and maintained a cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention program to minimize risks associated with infectious agents like the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
  • The proper cleaning protocols, disinfection techniques, and work practices are in place to combat biohazards and infectious diseases.
  • Highly informed cleaning professionals who are trained for outbreaks and infectious disease preparation and response.

We appreciate you and look forward to safely convening with all of you in April.
