The LEGO® Education-sponsored strand at BOOST 2026 showcases how learning through purposeful play transforms outside-of-school experiences. Through hands-on workshops and district-led showcases, participants explore LEGO® Education–powered learning that supports equity, UDL, English learner development, and belonging. Sessions offer scalable, ready-to-implement strategies that help districts build sustainable, play-based systems and future-ready skills.
 
The LEGO® Education workshop strand will be held in the TBD room.

Computer Science & Computational Thinking Pathways with LEGO Education

This session explores how districts are building sustainable computer science pathways through robotics, coding, and problem-solving in expanded learning. Participants will engage with LEGO® Education and learn how to launch and scale district-level robotics competitions, and access shared lessons and online resources. District spotlights highlight real-world implementation and impact.

Participants will explore integrating science, ELA, math, and ELD with Attendance Recovery and Academic Hours. Sessions offer flexible implementation options—including one-day, multi-day, and four-hour models—that prioritize engagement over compliance.

Panelists will discuss survey findings, reflect on emerging themes, and explore how LEGO® Education and partners can better support expanded learning programs. Participants will engage in guided discussion and leave with a clearer understanding of how survey data can inform strategy, planning, and next steps.
